Credit Manager
Job Description
The Credit Manager position will involve the following:
- To manage an effective and efficient Credit Control department, ensuring customers pay on time
- To be responsible for the banking and posting of receipts, cheques and transfers as well as processing invoices and credit notes
- To contribute to the development and delivery of a quality and effective Credit Control service by working with the team and other key contacts to review and continuously seek improvements to the service delivery
- To maintain tight accounting controls over all the Credit Control processes, complying with the established system of internal checks and agreed audit recommendations
Suitable applicants will have the following skills:
- Previous exposure to a management/supervisory role within Credit Control
- Exposure to a medium/large organisation
- Excellent communication skills
- Effective management skills
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Good analytical skills
- Highly accurate
- Strong knowledge of Excel and other Office packages
